International Green Building Conference 2012 – eco

Part of the Singapore Green Building Week
Venue: Sands Expo Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Theme: Green Community, Green Action

Being the leader of Green Building Hub in Singapore, Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) is pleased to announce that the region’s premier International Green Building Conference 2012 (IGBC 2012) will be held on 10-12 Oct 2012 in Marina Bay Sands with the support of Strategic Partners – the Building and Construction Authority and International Enterprise Singapore. It will be held alongside the annual BEX ASIA 2012, an exhibition of green construction and building products and services.

The IGBC 2012 will be focusing on the twin themes of importance Green Leadership and Green Community. Leadership demonstrated by the government and the industry (championed by developers, building owners and green consultants) had created the impetus for rapid green building development in many countries. But the engagement of the community –the building tenants, home owners and consumers – is equally critical. It will be the platform for discussing strategies and policies that will help to harness the tremendous potential of the Green Community to take the green building movement to the next level.
